Gameplay overview

Ride the neon pendulum

Neon Swing hurls you through a stylized city where every building hides rescue targets and explosive traps. Launch a grappling hook at glowing nodes, pivot around each anchor, and time your releases to vault toward the next platform at maximum speed.

Collect floating batteries to extend your flight, scoop up survivors for bonus points, and keep your velocity high enough to clear spinning lasers and collapsing billboards. Clean runs unlock tougher routes and leaderboard spots for the fastest swingers.

Controls

Tap into the flow

  • Click / Tap: Fire the grappling hook at the nearest neon anchor.
  • Hold: Stay latched to build momentum around the pivot point.
  • Release: Let go at the apex to launch toward the next anchor or platform.
  • R: Restart the current run instantly if you miss a grab.

Why play it?

High-speed rescues in the clouds

  • Responsive physics make every perfect swing feel slick and skillful.
  • Procedural level slices keep rescue routes fresh on repeat runs.
  • Leaderboards push you to master quick-release timing and plan daring shortcuts.

Tips

Never lose the rhythm

  • Aim for anchors above you to gain altitude before gliding across wide gaps.
  • Use shorter holds when lasers rotate toward your path to slip past them cleanly.
  • Snag batteries even if it means a slower swing—they prevent sudden power drops near the finish.

Our take

Why Neon Swing nails the swinging feel

Neon Swing focuses on one thing—building and preserving momentum—and does it well. The rope physics are readable and consistent, so after a few failed runs you start to intuit exactly when to release to sail over a hazard or latch onto the next peg in a smooth arc.

The glowing visuals and simple controls also make it a natural fit for quick sessions on any device, with each successful stretch of swings feeling like a small, stylish stunt run across the skyline.

Who will enjoy it?

If you like games where a single, well-timed input can carry you a long way—think swing or grappling-hook platformers—Neon Swing is worth checking out. It will feel too light for players who want complex systems, but for pure, arcade-style flow it does exactly what it needs to.
