Gameplay overview

Race the connect board

Om Nom Connect Classic refreshes the evergreen onet formula with Om Nom flair. Scan the grid for matching tiles, then draw a line that turns at most twice to link them without crossing other sweets. Each cleared pair frees space and returns precious seconds to the timer.

New layers of icons and obstacles keep the boards fresh, while bonus combos and power-ups grant extra hints when the candy pile gets overwhelming.

Our take

Why Om Nom Connect Classic is a sweet side dish

Om Nom Connect Classic takes the familiar connect-two format and wraps it in the Cut the Rope universe, which gives the boards a bit more character than generic icon sets. Planning paths around candy, bubbles, and other series staples is a nice nod for fans while still being easy to parse for newcomers.

The time limits and hint system strike a good balance: you have to think about keeping lanes open, but a misplay doesn’t instantly punish you. It works well as a lighter companion piece if you enjoy Om Nom’s physics adventures and want something calmer between runs.

Who will enjoy it?

Players who already like Cut the Rope or Onet-style puzzles will find this an easy recommendation. If you’re looking for deep mechanics it remains straightforward, but as a themed matching break it’s charming.
