Poop Encyclopedia
Tap to drop, drag to grab, and slowly fill a 22-entry collection log with the rarest falling specimens you can find.
Gameplay overview
A very silly collection log
Poop Encyclopedia is a falling-object game with a completionist hook. New specimens drop in from the top of the screen, you tap to release one at a position or drag an existing one around, and every distinct species you encounter is stamped into a 図鑑 encyclopedia.
The catalogue is built around rarity. Five shell-coloured varieties make up the bulk of the drops, while the rarer finds, twins and triplets, faces, stripes, gold, metallic and even a soft-serve shape, are listed with their exact spawn chance. The 流す button drains everything on screen through a plughole so you can start a fresh hunt.
Your objective
What you are trying to achieve
Discover all 22 specimens in the 図鑑. Each new type is logged with a spawn chance that drops sharply as you approach the bottom of the list, so the goal is simply to keep dropping and flushing until the rare entries unlock.
There is no fail state and no timer; the only measure of progress is how many silhouettes in the encyclopedia have turned into real specimens.
Controls
Drop it, grab it, flush it
| Action | Input / gesture |
|---|---|
| Drop a specimen | Tap a spot on the screen to release a new specimen there. |
| Grab one | Drag an existing specimen to move it around the pile. |
| Flush | Press 流す to drain everything on screen and clear the area. |
| Encyclopedia | Open 図鑑 to review discovered species and the silhouettes you still need. |
Beginner guide
Your first few minutes
Poop Encyclopedia is almost frictionless, but a couple of habits make the rare hunt far less tedious.
- Tap around the screen to see how specimens fall and pile up, and how the physics behaves.
- Open 図鑑 early, because the empty silhouettes show exactly how many types are left to find.
- When the pile gets crowded, press 流す to flush it away before dropping more.
- Drag any specimen that looks unusual out of the pile so you can see it clearly and let it register.
- Leave the low-percentage entries for last; the five common colours will fill in on their own.
Advanced tips
Chase the rare ones last
- The rarity percentages in the 図鑑 are a roadmap: anything under half a percent is a long hunt, so flush the pile often and keep dropping.
- Specimens that wake up move differently from sleeping ones, so nudge them with a drag instead of fighting the physics.
- Flushing never erases progress, so there is no reason to hoard a crowded screen; clear it and keep rolling for the rarest entry.
Rarity in Poop Encyclopedia
Twenty-two entries, five of them common
- The five plain colours (shell pink, lemon yellow, neon pink, ice blue and mint green) each appear about 19% of the time.
- Special variants such as twins, faces, stripes, gold and metallic carry spawn rates from about 0.45% down to 0.1%.
- The rarest of all, the insanely large variant, is listed at roughly 0.05%.
- Your discoveries are saved in the browser, so the 図鑑 fills up across sessions.
Our take
Why it is worth a try
Poop Encyclopedia is a joke premise executed with real polish. The collection gacha is the whole game, and the rarity table, with entries down to a tiny fraction of a percent, gives it the same pull as a sticker album.
It is deliberately low-effort: tap, watch, flush, repeat. The appeal is almost entirely the 図鑑 filling in, and for a free browser toy that is more than enough.
Who will enjoy it?
- For players who enjoy collection logs and low-pressure tapping, and for anyone who wants a five-minute novelty. It is not aimed at people looking for a skill-based challenge.
